What is pull strength?

This is the highest possible holding power of a magnet and it is measured in kilograms. Pull strength is the force required to pull a magnet away from a flat surface of steel when they are in full surface to surface contact. Pull strength is affected by the grade of metal, the surface condition and the angle of pull.
