FAQs

What is a keeper?

A keeper is a steel bar or disc and it is placed between opposite poles of a magnet allowing the magnetism to flow directly from one pole to the other pole. The magnet with the keeper attached will be completely non-magnetic until the keeper is removed. Keepers are useful if stray magnetism needs to be contained or if a magnet needs to be airfreights, they are also useful to help keep some magnets safer to handle.
